I place all my Affiliates in three categories when they arrive.
A) Lookers - B) Potentials - C)Action Takers
A) Lookers - These affiliates sign up because it's FREE to join with no obligation as the advertising promotes. And that is fine with me because that is the only way you will grow this business is by sharing it with more and more people.
B) Potentials- These are the new affiliates that, show a little interest by confirming their registration so now they can receive mail updates on this program from SFI and their Upline.
Potentials are a great list to develop as these type of people can be around for months, even years until something triggers them to take action.
c) Action Takers- These affiliates are ready to go before they even sign up. After sign up they instantly take action and start moving forward in their business... they are doers and very hard to find, but thy are many also!
Once you understand your customer profile, You can put your mind at ease and move forward to your next advertising campaign. Try to track each campaign so you can analyse your results.
Thing to consider when advertising is: how big/small budget, where/location, what time. etc. There are a lot of factors to consider when advertising to what type of quality affiliate results you will receive. The quality of new sign ups are a result of the quality of your campaign.
I hope this helps with your answers to your question to why some do nothing after sign up. In my experience in advertising if your get up to 3% response in your campaign you are doing great. 97% are just lookers. We are in constant search for the Action Takers.
