I find Bitly to be the best way to track my ads especially at first. you can actually use a combination of the SFI tracking system and Bitly.com. It's free. It breaks down your hits to country, ad exchanges, and time. It shows an actually graph 24 hours, days or even up to months. This way you know who the active countries are and when for which ad and you can target them on the better ad exchanges.
There is one downfall. Facebook does not let you use bit.ly and there are some other sits that won't let you use a double link. Keep this in mind if the site will not post your link and use just the SFI tracking.
There is also TinyUrl which I have seen used a lot but I am not familiar with it. After a while you will just know when the best times to run your ads are and where.
