How you are perceived when you tell prospects you are in the best of all networking business opportunities, which is SFI?
If every affiliate made the claim best, it’s just arguing the position of best as strategy to engage prospects. There is the possibility that this strategy will backfire and most of the time without even knowing it. Instead of attracting prospects you’re driving them away.
Unless a scientific study was conducted that analyzed every aspect of your SFI business you’re representing, how can you make a representation that your business is the best? You may be able to utter the word “best,” but your prospects aren’t buying it. Being passionate about your SFI business is not the same as making statements with no proof.
How to position yourself
If you want to engage prospects, don’t argue “best,” but rather position “different.” You can mention the SFI Facts and Figures to emphasize the difference from all other online networking businesses.
If you doubt that arguing “best” is a flawed prospecting strategy, try it with a professional marketing agency and watch the reaction. My prediction is that you will receive an eye roll followed by a deep sigh of frustration.
