Rather than "over-selling" or rambling on, just asking if the prospect would be interested in learning about supplementing their income via internet? If so, I give out an X-card and suggest checking it out. If not, I may ask for a referral, stating that I am interested in helping others such as anyone who is interested in working from home while building a global business!
I work various markets such as Seniors, Veterans, and employees of various businesses I have experience in, such as Customer Service, the hospitality business, human resources, and health and wellness businesses.
Always have business cards available as well as ECA brochures to hand out!
