I've just won my first auction, and here is my advice:
Be prepare to spend a lot of T-credits, and with a litle luck - you will win it too. From the beggining put the autobidder on - that will scare other players - and enjoy watching!
I was prepare to spend at least 250 T-credits (for the auction for 300 T-credits), and put the autobider from the first bid, with 50 T-credits, and after that another 50, but I won after 24 in second set... I think all aother bidder was scared and let me win... But I know it is mostly luck that help me win, couse you never know how much the other bidders are willing to spend...
