For me they go hand in hand - I play the games to get T-credits to bid on the double MRP bids
Then I use the MRP points to get VP and more t-credits to bid again - and so it goes in a circle that gets bigger and bigger.
whatever you do - bid or play - you earn VP. The payoff for playing games is the chance to get T credits and if you play the paid games (not the free ones) you also earn VP
Bidding on the auctions also earns you VP and it gives you a chance to win T-credits and if you bid right you might just win an auction and get something amazing for a ridiculously low price.
