Anything that you say it have to be honest. If they are doing something they should not do, let them know. If they are doing something they need to be doing let them know. It might be that they don’t know what they should be doing therefore, you can give them suggestions on a daily, weekly basis whenever you feel it is necessary to do so. Also engage them in conversations. Ask them questions, what they think about such and such. But I think that the most important aspect is that you just have to be honest with them and tell them like it is.
