Criticism is a field of landmines that I would avoid at all costs. You might intend for it to be positive but it might be seen in a totally different way than the way you intended it to be seen.
The reason why I am saying this is - language. My home language is not English but I think I am not doing too bad expressing myself and understanding others but I can tell you one thing - it can sound extremely harsh if you do not know the language. I remember when I was still learning the language - I thought that English speaking people are so aggressive and always fighting. It was only when my English improved that I realized they are not fighting all the time!!
Rather give your team tips and ideas on how to achieve their goals. Instead of telling them for example - if you do not log in every day you can not expect to make a success of your business, tell them - log in every day and do as much as you can. You are still saying the same thing - just in a positive way. In other words - don't tell them what they are doing wrong and how to rectify it, just tell them what to do - if they are doing it wrong they will realize it themselves just by reading what they should be doing.
I hope I am expressing myself well enough now to give you the idea of what I am trying to say - don't criticize - positive or negative - it might not turn out the way you want it to.
