Positive, constructive criticism shows an affiliate or group of affiliates how to better use the tools at their disposal by simultaneously correcting a weakness and engaging enthusiasm.
For example, suppose you have an affiliate who is accumulating PSAs rapidly, yet isn't following through with duplication or other leadership issues. You could say something like this:
"Hey, congratulations on putting so much effort into building your downline--once you start training them to do what you're doing, they're going to start making you lots of money! What are you doing to help them do this? Can I help you at all?"
This is exceedingly important because "duplication," contrary to popular opinion, does not end with active affiliates, but goes at least two generations deep. After all, that's the only way to make sure that your PSA is fully duplicating *your* actions and training his or her downline to do the same.
Now, it's possible that you're using the word "criticism" here when you really mean "commentary." I know that a lot of what we get when we read others' advice, whether in "Ask SC," the forums, or from our own a2a and upline affiliates, tends to be a bit bland and lacking in concrete information, whether to protect their own sources from being overused or to encourage others to find sources that fit their own particular style. However, it is possible to suggest places to look for sources of traffic or places to advertise--search engines like Google are wonderful for finding both. Teach your affiliates how to do research, and they will do amazingly well.
