Suggest!
You can provide positive and constructive instruction in your emails by suggesting ideas for your downline.
Always word your suggestions in a positive light. Suggest to them the things you want them to do--not what you don't want them to do. Example: "I find that logging in daily and doing the items on my To-Do List consistently gives me 11 VP daily. That adds up over a week." Rather than: "Don't miss a day of logging in. You will miss VP." While that is true, I'll give the first example a happy face when I read it, and I'll feel like a sad face when I read the second example.
In the first example, the words "I find" is showing them what you do, and what results you get. It is an unstated suggestion.
When a downline member "misses" some VP, you may suggest they correct that by saying: "I noticed you missed __________________ . You will get __ VP by completing it today."
Sometimes I use "Tip" cards to do this.
Remember the halo effect. When they feel positive after reading your suggestions, they will tend to feel positive about you. It is easier to build a relationship with someone who looks at you in a positive light, don't you agree?
