Be positive, tell them everything you consider they ought to know and advise them as much as you can. They will be grateful, you will see. Try not to tell them what they shouldn't do, but what they should do. Advise them nicely and politely and you will see their progress in short time. Some are fast learners, some are not, but just be patient.
Don't look at it as a criticism, it's only piece of advice for their own good. It's called help and support. I am sure they already know that.
