I've won the Pick The Price Contest a few times , and so I can only tell you what has worked for me.
First and foremost, you must play often...face it, if you're not in the game, you can't win!
Here is my list of things I do for this contest...
1. I play often
2. I pick one item only (it may be listed more than once for different times, this is ok...play all times listed) example: 300 pack T-Credits with auctions listed at 24 min., 1 hr 15 min., and 2 hrs. It's one item but played 3 times.
3. Look at the history of item picked (be sure to look at the times)
4. Place your guess based on what you've seen with it's history and time
Typically speaking, as the auction times get later and later, your guess should be less and less.
