If I were to initiate an online chat for the first time I would ask a lot of questions about:
- "Why are you interested in SFI?"
- "Will you be able to commit to spending an hour or more per day to build a strong business?"
- "Will you contact me by email if you get stuck with a problem?"
That will get the ball rolling. I would be ready to relate what I found when confronted with those issues. I would explain how my sponsor helped me.
I would close with questions about his family and his job and be ready if he asks me about my family and my job.
I keep in mind the word 'FORM' ...
F - Family
O - Occupation
R - Recreation
M - Motivation ( I really want to know what his motivation is for creating an online business)
Set a time to re-connect for follow up in about 3 to 7 days.
