Mentoring implies training system under which a senior or more experienced individual (the mentor) is assigned to act as an advisor, counselor, or guide to a junior or trainee. The mentor is responsible for providing support to, and feedback on, the individual in his or her charge.
So, train and teach your PSA, be of help to them, teach them what you learned from yours mentors, and what you have learned and experience gained.
But always take care to not cross the line where you will actually be subordinated in that situation, and to work instead of your affiliate. Your primary task of mentoring is to make it so you learn to be independent in their actions, and to show willingness to do so.
