I honestly don’t think there is much we can do when we lose active affiliates. It is a situation which happens to us all, and more often than we like to acknowledge. I have had the same experience. I have some team members who have been open with their reasons, and others that just dropped off the radar with absolutely no communication. Life happens to all of us, and we need to respect their decision to move on to a place that they may consider better for them at this time.
I had one team member advise that he was working a full time job, while studying for a higher degree, and found the need to be more focused on achieving his goal, so had opted to drop out of SFI for a period of time. He continued to maintain EA status for a few months, but has now dropped back to affiliate status. I have had others explain that he region in which they live is poor, with few opportunities to do better financially, and while they opted to start an online business with a view to helping themselves, the extra burden to maintain EA status while still supporting a family was great, so regrettably they were forced to discontinue. We can only wish each other well, respect that we each have our personal situations, shared, or not, and continue to motivate and help as much as possible those who remain active.
