Not your SFI genealogy but you own contact list. You have friends that you connect with through email. This is your warm market and you should approach them skillfully with your offer. Send them an email telling them about what's going on in your life. Besides the usually mumbo jumbo, tell them that you are working on a little project that will help you earn an extra $250.00 per week. Tell them that you spend about an hour a day doing it. Tell them about some of your accomplishments, ie. I won a digital camera or a wireless printer at 99% below retail. Tell they they can check it out anytime at whatever domain you send them too. The close out with your usually close and wish them the best. Your friend will not see this as a sales pitch but rather gossip about what's new with you.
You can create a blog about SFI and Tripleclicks and everyone that visits can sign up for a chance to win something for free! You have to set this up on a auto responder for the best results. On your blog you'd want to have a sign up form. Then everyone that signs up is sent not just 1 free gift but 10. This is call rewarding the opt-in and works like a charm. Then about 3 to 5 times per week you follow up with them and see if they have questions. Using a signup form is one way to have prospects opt-in to receive your email promos.
One last way that is commonly used is called a double opt-in. There is a sign up form for the prospect to sign up on. Once the sign up form is completed and submitted, there is a link sent out to the prospect that they must confirm before they will have an active account. This applies when using safelist to do email marketing. This way there is no mistake abot it.
