First of all tell them the truth. It is no good telling them you only work half an hour a day when you are spending time sending adverts, reading Ask SC and reading the latest forum questions. Tell them how much time you spend on SFI and then tell them what you consider to be the minimum time they need to spend if they are going to have a successful business.
Tell them about all the free training that is available for them to learn how to work the business at their own pace. You can also explain that the more they learn the more they can earn.
Explain that SFI works through duplication.
You duplicate what your team leader does and they would need to duplicate what you do.
Let them know that there are some daily tasks that will help them build towards leadership positions and finally let them know it is a real business that takes time to build and consequently they are unlikely to make much income in the early months.
