To be able to answer your question accurately, it is important to know whether you mean that active people suddenly Opt-out or that you mean that people who were active before just stop being active.
If affiliates suddenly Opt-out there is not much you can do, because you are not permitted to contact them anymore.
However, if it is a case of people who were active before and suddenly stop being active, then this is a different matter. In this case I would simply send them an e-mail asking them what the reason why they stopped working, and whether there is anything you can help them with. Without knowing the reason why, it is virtually impossible to address the issue. If you ask 5 affiliates why they suddenly have stopped working and they all give you the same reason, there may be a structural problem you could address.
You can only deal with a problem when you know its root, otherwise you may find yourself just scratching the surface of the problem and risk falling back into the same issue over and over again.
