I got to say that you can't be sure if they're going to be used or not. A lot of different people are out there.
I used to send these much more often and from 10 of affiliates, only 4 of them used gift card.
Good thing is that if they don't use the gift card, the money comes back to you. Bad thing is that they didn't use it.
To be sure they will use it, put a different selection on validity of card. Make them expire for 3-4 days, so if they're going to use it, they'll use it immediately.
