When we are sending Gift cards, you need to keep record of redemption code, email address, name, date when you sent them your relationship with them etc. There is a gift card manager our affiliate center. We should enter the details over there .
We will come to know if gift cards are used by looking at GC manager. If someone redeems the TC gift card the entry will appear in our TC Gift card manager and we will also intimated separately that we have a new PRM.
If you find some TC gift cards are not used, we should find occasion to inform the person we sent a TC gift card. For example there is a closeout deal that is very attractive you can inform about it to the recipient of the TC gift card , and suggest them to use TC gift card to buy this item. There will be so many other occasions where you can recommend them ,depending on their interest to buy specific things. In fact you should contact them once and find out what products they like to buy online , Keep record about it in GC manager under notes and then when such products you see on TC inform them about availability and recommend them to redeem.
The TC gift cards do not have expiry date. So you do not have to worry about expiry. But we should NOT PUSH them to use these TC gift cards. If we PUSH them a few people will get irritated and might affect our relationship.
Actually GIFTs are to be given out WITHOUT any expectations. So if Someone we have gifted On our OWN, we should just relax and give space to the recipients to use it. And if someone has asked us for a GC and we have provided them, just remind them once in a month . It is OK in such case to tell them about CLOSEOUT deals.
