I have watched a few Pricebender auctions closely and can say that in everyone where auto-bidder was used, the person(s) who used auto-bidder won.
But remember to plan your auto bidding carefully and even though auto bidding can be really helpful but if you run out of coins/cash, the others who are not using auto bidder can still win.
