With all auctions the best thing you can do is observe them closely and only start bidding when you think that it is getting towards the end of the auction (when the timer stays at lower values).
Approach all auctions with caution and rational thought, it can be easy to get caught up in the fun of bidding, but really, if you don't watch you could end up spending more than you really want to, sometimes even more than the item is worth!
