I would have to say, presenting the gift card to an individual has to be the most effective means of distribution.
My statistics prove I had 4 that redeemed their cards out of about 20 that I personally gave cards to.
Between hard copy and digital distribution, the ratio is much more dramatic with only 3 redeeming
their cards out of many hundreds of cards distributed! Why is this, you ask? Well, we don't want to
blame it on the leads as I get them from TripleClicks. One lead is as good as the next? My original
thoughts were if a person had the hard copy in hand they would respond more but that isn't true
either. Since the digital card came out I'm doing them more to cut down on the workload and cost.
Another question you may be asking is why do I continue to distribute gift cards to purchased leads?
My primary purpose is that I set a goal to be accomplished by the end of 2014 and I need quantity to do
that. Personal distribution would not give this to me. I think you have to look at any lead the same way
as the PSAs we receive, will they or won't they? ( My downline and gift card distribution numbers are
fairly close.) It's like any advertising, you have to present your info to the right person, at the right place
and the right time. The moment is lost if any one of the rights are missing, at least that is the way I see it.
My other thoughts are that anytime I make a TripleClicks purchase I am investing back into my business which I will get back at a later date. I have the feeling and positive thinking that I will at some point receive
the numbers needed to make this a profitable business. I will continue to distribute the gift cards and know
there are better days ahead.
