There are only two real ways to convince someone that they can earn a substantial income with SFI:
1) Show them the numbers--show them how selling at TripleClicks works, show them how supporting friends' stores earns you commissions, show them how the bonus pool works, and then talk with them about exponential earnings that come with the development of an active affiliate network. The math is easy to follow.

2) Show them your success numbers. Those are completely indisputable. I can't show much myself, yet, these being my first months, but I can still show the two dollars or so at a time that I make myself, as well as the sales and commissions from Tripleclicks, but that, too, is beyond dispute.
After that, it's all up to them if they have the willpower to make it all happen.
