Both have their attributes and shortcoming.
A website is more topic specific and leads it's readers in one direction.
A website in normally set up to sell one product. It is more ridged and limits
your ability to expand into other related areas.
Although, I have notice some of the new Website building sites, offer a blog
page now.
In my opinion, a blog is best. It offers more freedom for information sharing.
The ability to write, sometime daily, articles, training lessons, update or informational
notices, or just tell an entertaining story.
And, it is much more easy to make changes. For example, changing
banners, adding articles, re-writes or updating, entering plug ins, etc.
As you build your skills, you should try both. I still favor blogs,
at this time.
