When I set out to do SFI one colleague told me not to do advertising on social networks. But I am terribly stubborn, and I did not listened to it and I started to advertise on facebook. And I'm glad about that, because they are advertised through Facebook, advertisers, blog .... but facebook is the best in terms of bringing the active members.
Why?
Because the ads on facebook mostly see my friends that I have a lot. These are people who I respect and who believe me. They know that they will not cheat because they want to try.
