The negative side of retired people is they may not be able to cope with internet marketing because they are already old. And since they have pension they may not be interested in working hard.
The homemakers on the other hand are trying to find additional income to help meet their family needs while staying at home. Therefor they too are great potentials to active as affiliates. They have the drive because they are in need.
The negative side, however is they have lesser time to spend for their SFI business.
So, if you have the opportunity to target them both then do it, even if you post your ads twice once targeting the retire person and the other is targeting the homemakers.
But if you are only given one choice I would suggest Homemakers because they are highly motivated.
