I think there's not much difference in what should a new ECA do and not do in their first month and any other following month.
When they become ECA they should list their products,write an interesting description and use good photos of the products to attract as many potential customers as possible.If their customers contact them with additonal questions they should answer ASAP.And when they receive an order notification they should complete it ASAP.
They can also use Hot Deals to attract more customers.And of course,advertising!
I think if ECA is following above instructions he/she will have a lot of orders and satisfied buyers.
