That is something we would all love to ensure but there is no guarantee that it will happen despite your best efforts. That been said - you just have to continue to give it your best to show them the way.
Use your team mails to teach them about the advantages (1st mail), After that you teach them step by step how to do it. (In 2nd and maybe more mails) Make it short and keep it simple - they might already feel overwhelmed and suffer from information overload.
If you do not see results immediately - don't give up. Keep on trying and remember - the best way to convince them is to do as you say - lead example.
