That said, if you are a solo entrepreneur, there are only some parts of your business you will be able to automate. Below I will list for you some things you will be able to automate:
**Online Marketing/Advertising - If you have some money to spend, you can automate this task by signing up for Co-ops, upgrading in Traffic Exchanges and Safelists and purchasing solo ads. All are both relatively inexpensive and scalable.
**Going along with marketing/advertising, the second part of that is follow up. You can in theory, set up and autoresponder system to deal with all the follow up people sign up, however it is not 100% foolproof since I think some form of personalization will be needed that can only come from a one on one type of communication. But it is possible to automate much of it.
Beyond the above two examples, you may be able to find a few small things you can automate, but for the most part, complete automation of your SFI business is just not feasible in my opinion.
However, when you get to the point where you are making a good income from SFI (or any business for that matter), you could certainly outsource certain tasks, thus becoming "automated".
In closing, just keep in mind, any business, especially online business, is going to need that personal touch that only a real live human being can give. No one cares more about your business than you.
In a somewhat "closed" community as SFI, which is such a self contained business system, you really do not want to rely on complete automation anyway, beyond some online advertising. You need to be involved in the culture of SFI and what they stand for and the only way to do that is by your own personal touch.
