What a funny and interesting question. Let's take it this way, am an ECA that sells baby items alongside other 100 ECA selling same items. Does it really affect me, I don't think so because there are different things we don't have in common such as:
1. My marketing strategy
2. How I treat my customer
3. Low price on my items
4. Handing over my business to God (as a Christian)
5. Pay my tithe regularly (as a Christian)
6. Showing gratitude for patronising my shop
7. Giving out free gift to my customers on all festive period
8. Attending to all customer complain within a short period
9. Making my customer having right over me
10. Eliminating fake items from my shop
11. Etc
Following these rules above make me to stand out of other ECAs.
To answer your questions from my illustration above, yes we are all affiliate doing the same thing everyday but mind you in different ways.
- I spend hours on SFI and Tripkeclicks but you don't
- I don't rush my ASK SC but you do
- I invest a lot but you invest little or not at all
- I visit forum always but you visit once a while
- I took my time to contact my downlines but you do only on weekly basis to get VP
So many ways to help you stands out from multitude and excel. Good luck
