SFI is a business,so it is imperative that you not only capture an interested party's email address,but correspond with them and form a relationship, and you do this via an autoresponder. Remember to set up your autoresponder according to your campaign, and your campaign should be the topics of your blog. For example, if you are an ECA as well as an affiliate, you would want to promote your product/s, so write some interesting blogs about your product/s, and ensure you place some links within your blog leading to a capture page. You then need to link your autoresponder to that capture page, create some friendly reply emails that give a little more information about your product or services. It is important though not to bombard your new prospective customer with email after email full of sales pitches, not immediately anyway, first you must create a relationship with them, let them know a little about you, get them to warm to you. Then on about the 3rd or 4th autoresponder email, tell them what your product does and why they need it, put the sales pitch on but don't be too heavy. You should then leave it for 6-7 days and follow up with another email asking if they took advantage of your offer, maybe offer something new or even offer a discount.
You no doubt have heard the saying 'the money is in the list', well that is so true. So research and prepare your sales campaign, write your blogs, and then program your autoresponder to reply accordingly.
