Personally I don't like autoresponders. I have not had much luck with the use of them. Also, as the recipient of these types of emails, I find that I don't read them all the way through. I read a few lines and delete them.

According to what is listed there you should not use an autoresponder as this method is considered impersonal and can actually dissuade someone from looking into the business more.
