New affiliates should not try to earn all the "FREE" VP in their first month. They should earn enough to get to EA rank, then save the rest of the FREE VP for the second month since it's not as easy to earn VP in the second month.
They should also not worry about achieving TL status in the first month. Instead concentrate on building a team. After all, who will you lead if you have no team? Duplication is the key to success here so sponsor all the affiliates you can and be sure to support them.
