They need to get their fast start bonus in those 1st few hours.
They need to know not to use all of their LaunchPad and Extra Points the 1st month trying to make bronze and silver team leaders. But to spread those points out over their first 2 months so they are able to make EA2 their 2nd month.
Let them know that the LauncPad and Extra points should be divided between those 2 months.
Let them know that we all start over again each month so they are aware of it and they won't get discouraged when the 2nd month starts and they unexpectedly find themselves at affiliate again.
Keep in touch with them as much as you can but don't be riding them constantly!
It is their business and you can only give them advice.
Advice is worth only what they pay for it NOTHING!
If they are not willing to follow your advice so they will have a chance at succeeding then your badgering them will only aggravate them.
So try to lead, but remember it is up to them to follow that lead.
Know that you have tried your best so then all you can do is sit back and hope for the best from and for them.
