That's a great question.
I have had this happen to me and what I did was tell them I understand and then tell them a story about different things i've been through and how I too felt like they are feeling now and then what made me join SFI and then I would tell them that because it's free to join, they have nothing to lose.
The important thing is to be honest and they will feel it.
If you have no stories to relate to them then you can tell a story about how there are so many companies online who just want your money and don't care about you.
The idea is to be able to relate to where they are at and help them turn that around to a positive thing.
