The most painful mistake that one can make while building a downline here,
or otherwise in many other situations that confront us in life, will have
to be "ignoring the fact that majority of people will not accept your most
well intentioned advice simply because they are *averse to change."
*averse means = reluctant, not easily willing to do something
Do NOT even try to "convince" anyone about SFI being in their best interest.
You must stop well short of that - only show them "what SFI is capable of &
what it has done for so many people that are successfully earning from their
status as confirmed leaders in the program."
This is not to say that you must stop communicating with the non-performers
altogether.
After all, the weekly genealogy mail does fetch you a cool 30 VersaPoints.
To modify an idiom ever so slightly:
Keep taking the horse to the river daily [ regularly ] & then let the silly
thing decide whether it is thirsty enough to drink or not.
To my mind, the second [MOST IMPORTANT] common mistake to avoid would be to
start believing that you will never have an achiever in your downline simply
because you have not had one out of 'xyz' PSA's in so many months/ years.
The third [ i do not intend to make this a thesis ] & last 'common mistake'
that should be obvious to the reader by now is:
Not to give up after months of struggling to find success here at SFI.
Downgrade your position if you are unable to match your expenses with your
income but, for Gods' sake, WHY should you ever think of giving up ?
Have you not heard about "King Bruce of Scotland" ?
The one who watched a spider and learned from such a lowly creature ?
Or, do you want to be the proverbial loser who persevered with opening 119
doors only to give up in front of the 120th - THE ultimate door to success ?
