I would recommend finding local businesses that have unique (maybe even custom) items. I would take them a TripleClicks Gift Card, so they can try the website out for free. I would leave them the ECA marketing flyer along with my business card and have them call me when they are ready to go.
Then, when I get the call I would stop by with my laptop/tablet and help them sign up for the ECA program. Once approved I would help them list their items until they felt comfortable listing them on their own.
I would also be sure to let them know that I am local Team Leader for SFI/TripleClicks in the area and to please contact me with any questions. I would advise them that they don't pay me a dime and that SFI/TripleClicks pays me a commission to help local merchants like them.
