My personal opinion is, affiliate to affiliate (a2a) means, it will give us no barrier in communication among peers. You are able to share or ask question to your a2a friends especially if you think language is your barrier, by adding a2a friends from the same country, will help you eliminate that barrier.
Team Leaders would be a better choice, so that you can learn and copy all their good actions, their leadership thread and of course, you may ask tons of questions, to avoid mistakes, mistakes that they made along the way, would be avoided by us, newbies.
