I am so happy that this is the first time I have gone through such an intelligent question especially about the age factor.
SFI itself promulgate that Earn Second Income through their great system. Of late, many people have joined in SFI to earn such an Income in addition to their First Source of Income. Once the people realize that their Second Income is much more than what they earn by working under stress for longer hours to earn their primary income, they chose to make SFI as their career, put their more efforts and make it as their Primary and Only Source of Income.
I don’t think that the age factor is a criteria to start one’s career with SFI. The persons who are over 50 will be more matured and will have a clear vision about the entire concept. They will be more disciplined to read, understand and learn all the preliminary sections to move forward more confidently than some of the youngsters who may not take the system much seriously and will give up once they lose their tolerance in search of other “green pastures” without any directions. Moreover, the older lot have tremendous patience and willingness to give the system a chance to prove that SFI is the best and the Income they generate through SFI is real and genuine. Once they get acclimatized with the system, then they know what they need to do further to grow without much guidance.
As far as I am concerned, no need of any special kind of approach towards them and with a humble and humane touch as always we do, they will listen to us and produce the fruitful results in the days to come.
Hence, I will be more pleased to teach a person who is above 50 about the system because I can expect their dedication and determination to progress in the system and that is what my experience too. I always feel comfortable in convincing an older person than a younger one as the new breed of youngsters may have more ifs and buts without trying much harder after their first month in SFI and the lack of willingness to move forward. Once they realize about the true efforts to be put from their second month on wards, they will completely give up the system and become inactive despite of repeated reminders.
As a matter of fact, every one of us is different in some way but for those of us who are more 'different,' we have to put more effort into convincing the less different that we can do the same thing as they can just differently.
