The best way to become a team leader is to become an EA first. Then start with the 2 CSAs you have and work with them in a way that promotes goodwill. Remember in life you learn best by doing. So start with them.
Then, your promotional efforts will bring about PSAs. Offer them both the same support. Work with them as a team. Become very familiar with their goals and help them understand the big picture. One affiliate at a time you will begin to see very rewarding results. But you must focus on the needs of the affiliate as well as the needs of the group. To do this just don't depend on the genealogy mailer. Keep your own contact list and work with your affiliates on a personal level. You will soon find that some will love your attention. Others don't need it as much. So you will learn when enough is enough and always help those affiliates who ask for your help.
When you do the aforementioned, your team leader attributes will shine and soon the badge will follow. Keep up the pace and then higher milestones will follow. For some the process is rather quick and for others it will take some more time and effort. There is no silver bullet. Just hard work and dedication to the correct course of actions are needed.
