Here are some things to be included in your message. First, tell the affiliate who you are and that you are his/her sponsor. Welcome him/her and say that you are glad he/she joined SFI and why. Explain something about SFI and what it is and the kind of business opportunity it is.
Next, show the affiliate how to get started and explain that he/she should not move on to the next step until he/she understands this first step. Encourage the affiliate to gain 500 VP and receive 200 more as a bonus the first day.
In the last part of your letter, offer shares in any co-ops yu have and explain that at some point you may be able to reassign affiliates to him/her. You may want to offer a gift certificate, but that is up to you.
Be sure to offer your support and help to your new affiliate and explain that you are successful when the affiliate is successful. Welcome him/her again, and be sure to include your contact information. Above all, keep the message brief and to the point. You don't want information overload.
