In my opinion becoming an ECA can help you a lot. Being a ECA will bring in more money and you can use the money you make to invest in SFI. By becoming an ECA yourself you can help others become an ECA and not be totally clueless when you refer others to become ECA and they ask you for help with getting starting you will know exactly what to tell them.
