I have experience with in-person presentations, direct mail, trade shows, handing out biz cards, network at events, etc. Can offline marketing be as effective for my SFI business as online marketing?

I actually think that both (online and offline marketing) will have a very important role in growing your business, so to combine them is a really good idea.
Talking to people "face to face" may be the best way to promote SFI.You will be able to show your enthusiasm for SFI,to answer any questions they may ask,to build a personal relationship with your future PSAs.
And you will be able to find out if potential PSAs are really interested and will be hard workers.You may get less sign ups than with online marketing,but you'll get quality affiliates.
You can also use SFI and TripleClicks Gift Cards,pass them to those who seem interested.
Help them to start and keep on working with them.Teach them all about duplication.Lead by example.
