If you need to communicate with your sponsor or co-sponsor, do not hesitate. One thing they are there for is to help you succeed. As your Team Leaders, I would say that is part of the job description.
If you need help everyday with one question, ask a question everyday. I have an unresponsive sponsor, but my co-sponsor has been there for me several times in one day when I needed help, and has almost always responded in less than 24 hours.
Do not be afraid to ask questions or compliment them on their help. Praising your sponsor/co-sponsor when they are helpful can also be beneficial. Everyone likes to know that they are needed.
In short, contact them daily, weekly, or whenever needed.
