Any communication is a two-way process, so the frequency of your communication with your sponsor depends on both of you. If your sponsor shows willingness to assist you, you should certainly accept his/her help. And if you find yourself stuck with some activity or can’t fully understand something, your sponsor is supposed to be the first person to ask for help. But, not all sponsors are the same, so if you feel like your sponsor doesn’t have time or patience to help you out, you should probably reduce your communication down to the necessary. There are other people in your upline who are maybe more willing to teach you.
However, I suggest you should always try first to find the answers in SFI Basics, Launchpad, Forum, even the Glossary or other places within SFI site where you can find general info. SFI has recently introduced the browser at the top of your Homepage where you can simply type in the key words and find what you are looking for. I say this for two reasons:
1. It’s good for you to learn your way about SFI site, as you will need some info on daily basis, and the sooner you discover all the available info pages the sooner you’ll become independent. Through browsing and learning, you will familiarize yourself with the program and make yourself able to teach your own downline. You don’t want to rely on your sponsor too much, it’s not good for you.
2. Your sponsor may have many PSAs or CSAs who are looking for his/her attention, and maybe doesn’t have much time for individual work with each of you. He/she is just like a teacher in a big class, so just imagine you’re one of the students in his class and behave accordingly. If you are good in what you’re doing and a fast-learning, you’ll draw your teacher’s attention and probably get some extra guidance.
