You should absolutely be honest with them but the key is in the emphasis. If you have been working the business your earnings have probably grown a great deal from month to month. You may not be making much but if you went from $1.00 in month one to $5.00 in month two that says something. This is a long term business, you have to get people to look at it with long range vision.
You don't have to give them your exact number if you don't want to but make sure you are honest. They will find out on the tenth what kind of money they are going to make, just let them know it will grow each month as long as they keep plugging in.
