If you are relatively new to SFI, then the easiest way is to plan at the beginning of the month. After you have affiliates sponsored under you, it becomes easier because of the matching VP you will receive.
So, since you asked this question, I am going to assume you are relatively new or that you don't have many sponsored affiliates working the business yet. In order to make BLT, which is your first leadership position, you need 2000 sales VP and 1000 action VP. The sales VP is very easy to get if you make a purchase or two from TripleClicks.
What you need to focus on is the action VP. These are harder to obtain and you can't wait till the last minute to try to obtain them. You receive action VP for working your To-Do list daily. But, even, after completing everything available on the to-do list(and this is based on the assumption that you have already completed all of your Launchpad lessons, you will not have 1000 action VP.
Ok, so what will give you action points? Bidding on Auctions, Picking the Price on Auctions, Answering Questions in the Ask SC. Buying Gift Cards. You receive 10 action VP for everyone you give out. There may be a few I left out, but I hope this gives you an idea of the difference in the types of points you will need.
This is why I say, its is best to plan at the first of the month and to really work on your action points. Look for ways to get them, because these are the ones that are challenging.
