The best encouragement is your personal example. If you are really successful here, you have something to show to your Affiliates. If you share your strategies with them at the same time - you're even a better leader and your Affiliates will follow you with higher motivation. If you just repeat all the time "if it has worked for me, it will work for you" when you share a strategy, you'll see more dedication on the part of your Affiliates.
I know how it feels when you think you're getting nowhere and there is no support from your upline or sponsor, I've been there. So I developed my own strategies, made them into a series of training letter and send them to all my affiliates alike. If asked, I present my results, also the financial ones to back my point of view and to grow my Affiliates' confidence.
As long as you offer support and as long as YOU yourself can set an example of success instead of feeding your Affiliates trash like "be persistent, do the to-do list daily, set a standing order" while you don't do that yourself, your Affiliates will have a sense of direction and will see the sense of their actions.
EDUCATION, SUPPORT, and EXAMPLE are the key terms here.
Why EXAMPLE? Imagine these two situations:
A poor man aproaches another poor man and says "You know, I have found a great way to earn a lot of money. Come with me and I will show you what to do to get rich."
A luxury car stops close to a poor man, a well dressed man gets off the car, invites the poor man for a ride and says: "You know, I've found a great way to earn a lot of money. Come with me and I'll show you what to do to get rich."
Which one would you follow?
