I think the best thing you can do (as a great sponsor) is just be there for them, and share your own experiences all the time.
Because we all have our own ups and downs and sometimes it help to know that you're not alone, and that your struggles and problems are not so unique as you thought in the first place.
And with that knowledge something else will happened, a shift in perception if you will. So, like the ones before, you too can succeed if you put your mind and your heart into it.
